Cohorts
The purpose of the Senior
Project Cohorts is to create a support-system for seniors completing the senior
project.
Roles and Responsibilities
Cohort
- Form cohort of
5-6 students
- Find an
advisor from the TCA faculty
- Schedule and
keep appointment with advisor
- Participate in
cohort meetings in and out of class
- Communicate
regularly with cohort members and advisor
- Check that all
members of the cohort understand the directions for the assignments
- Inform advisor
of assignment requirements
- Assist cohort
members who need help or who are falling behind
Advisor
- Meet with
students
- Remind
students of deadlines
- Provide
feedback to student work when possible
- Assist
students locate resources
- Verify
physical project hours
- Practice presentation
with students
